Lovely place to try new wines & whisky. The owner Alison & their staff always is helpful in finding a drink you will enjoy. Their brunch menu is absolutely delicious.
Excellent whiskey selection to indulge your bourbon craving on the way back from the Bourbon Trail!We stopped on our way back from Kentucky and were met with friendly bartenders/owners. Apparently they have wine & whiskey classes and bottle sharing clubs... wish I had this in my college town!
Sip is a shining light among the mostly bland and basic culture of Huntington WV. The bar is well stocked with quality wine, beer, and liquor. The employees are knowledgeable about the different products and are more than willing to help out. Prepare to spend quite a bit of coin here but rest assured that it will be worth it if you appreciate the finer things in life. The only drawback is that there could be more seating space but that is a minor qualm and should not prevent you from visiting. 10/10 would recommend.
Very knowledgeable staff and a fantastic selection of Whisky and Bourbon. Snacks available. Staff very friendly and willing to aid selection. If you are interested in wine and whiskey you cant do much better. This has a very specific audience; dont expect a dance floor or karaoke.
What is there to say, they have quality, hand selected wine that you can try with others of the same flight for a very fair price. Add to that a selection of bourbons & scotches that speak to your very soul and call you by name (even if they do it with an accent)! This bar is enclosed a small area but has a huge heart. Whenever someone more poked in to see if there was a spot, someone else made room for them. There was always room for one more. And that is the attitude that Allison has bought to this bar. Not only her professionalism but more so her *passion* for this place shows through in how meticulous she is over every drink... Here's to you! Keep up the fantastic service and we'll keep coming to SIP before anywhere else. Every time.
